About Us
The Environment
We offer a predictable, nurturing environment where every child feels safe and supported. Our space is designed to be calm and sensory-friendly, with designated quiet areas for moments of respite from overstimulation. Clear routines and consistent caregivers provide stability and help reduce anxiety. Our staff is trained in autism awareness and equipped with strategies to support communication, including picture exchange and other nonverbal methods. We also encourage social interactions in small, manageable groups, allowing toddlers to develop social skills at their own pace. At The Cubs Club, we are committed to creating an environment where each child can thrive.
Our Staff
We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.
Our Story
The Cub's Club is a home-based daycare founded by a mother who encountered challenges when seeking childcare for her child on the Autism spectrum. The concept of the Cub's Club emerged from the ongoing difficulty of balancing work with unreliable childcare options. Our aim at the Cub's Club is to provide a secure, enjoyable, and consistent routine-oriented space for children who may not flourish in a conventional daycare environment.
Our Goal
The main goal at the Cub’s Club is to provide parents with peace of mind while they work, run errands, or take a much-needed self-care day. We understand that finding time for breaks can be challenging when taking care of our children, and we are here to offer a safe environment and a helping hand.
Our main priority is the well-being and happiness of all the children in our care. We are committed to showing compassion and understanding towards the daily challenges that many children on the autism spectrum encounter. Inclusion and safety are fundamental values that we aim to instill in every child at our daycare.
